The New Year & the New Arrivals

We had a great 2014, filled with rescues, but a few too many vet runs. We ended the year saving 65 lives, a few shy of our goal, but every save matters.

Our newest arrivals, available for adoption are Jasmine (top left), Jules (top right), Josh (bottom left) and Junipurr (bottom right). All are about 9 months old and are VERY mellow and affectionate. They don't mind getting their claws trimmed and Josh likes to give kisses.

The two kitties on the top of the image are girls and the bottom kitties are boys. They're vetted, microchipped and ready to rumble! We want ALL our foster kittens to find their forever homes by the Holidays so that's why we're cutting our regular adoption fee of two kittens down from $175 to just $125! And that's FULLY VETTED kittens, too, which is a HUGE savings over what you'd pay to have your cat spayed, vaccinated, tested for FIV/FeLV and microchipped.

In addition to the kittens already listed on our web site, we have MORE arriving later this month so we need to make some room! Can you help us out by spreading the word on social media or telling your cat-loving friends?

Help Pom Pom Walk

We tried. We tried so hard, but now we need you.

Pom Pom Pomegranate has no chance of walking without discomfort unless we remove her back left leg. It’s taken us 10 months, specialist visits, tests, treatments, and zillions of hours of physical therapy to come to this decision. We need all of you to make it happen.

Why Now?

Pom Pom is almost a year old. Her body will not improve beyond what we've been able to do for her.

Imagine you have to keep your leg stretched out. You can’t bend it. You can’t support yourself on your foot because it bends backward at an awkward angle. The weight of the malformed leg forces your back to twist unnaturally. It causes shocks of nerve pain. How can you live like that?

Pom Pom can’t continue to live like this.

We know there are surgical risks. We’ve done extra testing to be as safe as we can be. Will this surgery make everything perfect? No, but her back leg hinders her mobility, so we feel this is her best option. We have to try for Pom Pom.
